Here I go Again!!

Most people don't know where to begin. I don't know where to end. In the last couple years of showing my support for The Arthritis Foundation, I feel like I have really made a difference. But I just can't stop there. This year with the economy in shambles, Charities have taken a major blow. Just because the economy is soft, it doesn't mean our hearts are soft though.

That's why I've decided to continue to show my support in the best way I know how. I'm doing another race! This time it's the ING New York City Marathon and I'm covering all my own expenses. This way your donations can go straight to the cause, so if you can't give as much as you have given in the past, hopefully you can still give a little bit and it will still make a big difference.

For those who may not be aware of why my heart goes out to this cause so much, it's because it is close to my heart.

Jen and I have been friends for over 30 years, since the day I wandered into her backyard at the age of 4 looking for a friend. Since then we've been like sisters - laughing, crying, fighting, and supporting each other.

Jen was diagnosed with Arthritis as a young child and through her life has fought serious pain and deterioration of her joints. She has undergone more surgeries than you care to imagine straightening, replacing and fusing joints. With all that she has gone through her whole life, she rarely complains or allows the disease to take over her life. She is an inspiration to me in so many ways. Mostly, she inspires me to push myself and not complain when it gets hard.
